Review: Bad Words Aren't Only For Bad People!
Cast: Jason Bateman, Rohan Chad, Kathryn Hahn, and Philip Baker Hall
Director: Jason Bateman
Synopsis: 40 year old Guy Trilby (Jason Bateman) is on a mission to takeover The Golden Quill national spelling bee. Trilby is willing to destroy anyone who impedes on his plan. Including 8th grade contestants, angry parents, and contest officials. Surprisingly, during the competition Guy befriends awkward 10-year-old Chaitanya Chopra (Rohan Chad). Chaitanya is a witty kid and a certified genius, but he never quite fit in with his peers at school. Maybe, he was always to far ahead of his time. Regardless of their age difference, these two guys created the perfect dynamic duo. A unique bond that flourishes based off both of their inability to “fit in” to societies standards. In the midst of dominating the spelling bee Guy begins a love affair with Jenny Widgeon (Kathryn Hahn), the official reporter of the competition. She suspects Guy has ulterior motives when he mentions tragedies from his past that are attached to chief Dr. Bowman (Philip Baker Hall) who lives and breathes this competition.

This comedic-drama will definitely play on your emotions. At times you will laugh hysterically at Jason Bateman's dry humor. Other moments your heart will ache when you witness him struggle through the pain of his past.
